This award winning Normann washing-up bowl was designed by Ole Jensen. His inspiration was to create a washing up bowl that would cushion fragile porcelain and glass and yet be flexible enough to adapt to the shape of whatever object was laid in it. After developing a series of protoypes, he chose rubber as the most suitable material for its manufacture making the resultant bowl strong, flexible and durable - as well as brightly coloured adding a "poetic element" to the tiresome and repetative task of washing up. The washing-up bowl comes with a beech washing up brush with natural bristles. Dishwasher safe and approved by FDA for food.
